First thing after you have acceptance the Lord:
tell somebody what you have done !

You can do this to a local friend of whom you know he is a Christian too, so you will get contact with fellow Christians, you may also e-mail the Internet Pastor who will be happy to hear from you or join "Friends of BijbelNet" (see link at www.bijbelnet.org/newsletters )

Next, You Need A Bible

The Bible is your basic guidebook for the Christian life; The infallible Word of God, literally correct in all respects and containing all knowledge needed for the proper conduct of human life.  The Bible is very, very important. You need it.

You should have a printed hard copy of The Bible for yourself, so you can actually possess the Word of God.  Either the New King James Version (NKJ) or the New International Version (NIV) is fine.  The (old) King James Version is magnificent, my favorite by far, but its Shakespearean language presents difficulties for many modern readers. Use it if you can.

Also, you need access to an on-line Bible, for electronic searching.
